Embrace
O how I long to be in your embrace, to feel your warmth and love.
But now your embrace has turned cold, frightening.
A beast you have turned, a light gone out.
Your soul, once a shout, now silent, evil.
A fire aflame, extinguished, with no struggle.
Your embrace, once warm and loving, now cold and fightening.
No longer, your embrace invites me.
Your arms aren't open to allow it.
Once a blossoming lotus, a closed, dead beauty.
From the fire, came a future.
From the future, came a past, and a present.
No this can't happen not now.
Ah! but it did, and forever it will last.
Until eternity ends you will be closed, never to open.
